What is inside
-
Salicylic acid 3%
Salicylic acid has direct activity as an anti-inflammatory and exfoliating agent. As part of the gel, this active ingridient is responsible for preventing breakouts and deep cleansing of pores.
-
Azelaic acid 2%
Usually the first choice for treating bacne. Azelaic acid has not only exfoliating and drying properties, but also helps to cope with C. acnes bacteria. We added 2% — at this concentration it will not cause dryness, but it will do its job!

Then Shower Power will just make it smoother. We added mild surfactants and moisturizing ingredients (betaine, urea and a small percentage of lactic acid) to the gel. Therefore, it is suitable for any type of skin - the active ingredients do not dry out and do not cause irritation.
It’s important to remember that this shower gel is only for the skin of the body. Shower Power Gel should not be applied to mucous membranes. Simply put, please do not use it in intimate areas!
This largely depends on your initial skin type and condition but you might see first results as quickly as in a couple of days. However, if you want to get substantial results it will take some time — usually around 4-6 weeks.
It's best not to do this: the acids in the formula exfoliate the skin, and over-exfoliation can lead to hypersensitivity over time. The optimal frequency of use is 2-3 times a week. If you have thick, porous and oily skin, you can use Shower Power every other day.
There are no contraindications, you can try to wash your face with Shower Power gel. But remember that this gel is formulated with a fairly high content of salicylic acid, as well as a large amount of surfactants (albeit mild ones). This means that for thinner and more sensitive facial skin, such gel may be too “intense”. If you feel dryness or tightness, discard the product.
4.8 - 5.0. This is the optimal pH for a cleanser: it won't dry out the skin or cause irritation. Azelaic and salicylic acids in the combination work great with this pH indicator.
Shower gel, like any product with acids, is safe to use in the summer if you follow the recommendations for sun protection. Apply sunscreen to exposed areas of your skin when you go outside. Despite the fact that the shower gel is a washable product and does not come into contact with the skin for very long, safety measures will definitely not be superfluous.
Yes, teenagers and pregnant women can use Shower Power gel. The gel has no age restrictions, contraindications for expectant mothers too. Moreover, it can perfectly help a teenager cope with the problem of rashes on the body. Read on our Instagram about what components really should not be used by pregnant women.
We do not use ingredients of animal origin - Openface cosmetics are completely vegan. We also do not support cosmetic and household chemicals testing on animals. Instead, Openface products are being tested on cell cultures. Cells that make up our skin are grown in a petri dish, and chemists and laboratory assistants watch how they react to the product.
